Ty Tantum Named Director of Marketing at MJE Marketing Services

(March 21, 2011) — San Diego, Calif. — MJE Marketing Services, Inc., an award-winning, full-service creative marketing agency, announced the appointment of Ty Tantum as Marketing Director. In this new, multi-faceted role, Tantum will focus on new business development, account supervision, creative direction and client service, while also assisting with supervising agency operations.

Tantum has more than twenty years experience in all aspects of marketing, advertising, public relations, business management, sales and graphic design. A strategic planning and creative specialist, he is adept at leading teams in the development of integrated and effective campaigns for TV, radio, print, outdoor, digital and direct marketing.

Most recently, Tantum was Senior Account Executive on the San Diego Gas & Electric account. He was responsible for the planning, execution, and financial accountability of multi-million dollar marketing communication efforts, including hundreds of individual projects each year.

Tantum holds an MBA with a marketing emphasis and a bachelor's in economics, both from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has been a San Diego resident since 1998 and is a committee member of the San Diego Bowl Game Association.
